Brandy Cox
Brandy has been a part of First Christian Church since 2006, serving as the Nursery Attendant and creating a loving, safe environment for the youngest members of the FCC family. Her role is all about caring for infants and young children, helping them feel secure, nurtured, and happy while their families worship and connect.
In addition to her work at FCC, Brandy is a Certified Medical Assistant at Springfield Clinic Peoria Heights Plastic Surgery. She holds an associate degree and multiple certifications that reflect her commitment to care and compassion—both in the clinic and in the nursery.
Brandy’s favorite memory at FCC is the day she officially became a member, solidifying the deep connection she feels with the church community.
She’s a proud mom to one son and one stepson, and she shares her home with two beloved dogs. In her free time, Brandy enjoys gardening, reading, and listening to Andrea Bocelli, whose music she finds especially moving and beautiful. She’s also a big fan of the San Francisco 49ers and supports causes close to her heart, including the American Cancer Society and efforts to fight hunger and poverty.
