Hank Anderson
Hank joined First Christian Church in 2023 as the Interim Minister, helping guide the congregation through a time of transition with leadership, care, and a deep commitment to the church’s mission. His favorite part of the role so far has been meeting and getting to know the people of FCC.
He holds a B.A. from the University of South Carolina Upstate and a Master of Divinity from Lexington Theological Seminary. Hank has a heart for interim ministry and church revitalization, and brings both pastoral insight and practical experience to the role.
Outside of ministry, Hank enjoys reading, working with computers, and listening to classic rock favorites like The Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. A lifelong football fan, he roots for both the Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins.
He’s also proud dad to two children, Heath and Kara. Fun fact: Hank once had his “15 seconds of fame” when he served as Sports Information Director at USC Spartanburg during their 1982 NAIA National Championship win. His name even appeared in the credits of the national broadcast!
