• Develop in each member of the congregation a better understanding of the outreach mission of the church.  This must lead to deepened commitment and a growing participation in brotherhood outreach witness in today’s world.

• Plan and promote a definite program of missionary education in every department of the church; recommend the church’s annual missionary and benevolent budget; enlist support for missions and brotherhood causes; care for local and general benevolent needs not otherwise provided for; sponsor interdenominational activities, promote conventions, conferences and retreats, recruiting and support life work recruits; and keep records of all missionary giving and action in the church.
