Bruce is married to the Rev. Dr. Beth Dobyns, with whom he has two daughters. He graduated from Seminary in 1975.  He comes to Peoria from the Christian Church in Fort Madison, Iowa. Bruce is the leader of our staff and specializes in enabling our staff and congregation to find new ways to serve our Lord.

Karen has been the Associate Minister at FCC for fourteen years now.  She graduated from Lexington Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree in 1986 and was ordained that summer.  She has served Churches in Rushville, Decatur and now Peoria. Karen has three daughters.  Karen specializes in Christian Education and Missions and continues to challenge our congregation in these areas.

Marty has not only been  our bookkeeper but he has designed many of the computer programs that enables our stewardship and finance department to stay up to date on a month to moth basis.  He has also designed many of the databases we use in the church office.

The woman who REALLY runs the church! Linda truly cares about First Christian and does everything she can to make members, staff and visitors feel like they are her priority. She has two sons.
