Local Mission

"And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God." Micah 6:8

Purpose of Local Missions: Identifying local needs and helping the congregation respond to them through monetary donations, collections of items and hands-on opportunities for service.

Local Missions:  Reaching out to those in our local community

How do we do this:

Giving to the Food Pantry, Peoria Rescue Mission, Friendship House, Common Place, Center for Prevention of Abuse, Salvation Army, South Side Mission and schools in District 150. We are always looking to help in the community and way we can.

We also have a line item in our budget an Emergency Fund with is given out to those in need.  If at anytime you would like to contributed to this fund make Check Payable to FCC and in memo: Emergency Fund Local Missions.
